HCA owns six of London's most well-respected private hospitals and has the largest and most advanced private cancer care network anywhere in the UK. Our hospitals are The Harley Street Clinic, The Lister Hospital in Chelsea, London Bridge Hospital, The Portland Hospital, The Princess Grace Hospital and The Wellington Hospital.
We work with leading cancer specialists from many of London’s NHS teaching hospitals and we also provide some of our cancer services in partnership with University College Hospital and St. Batholomew’s Hospital directly from their campuses. We also spend millions of pounds every year to buy the very latest equipment and medical expertise for our patients, as well as making available all new cancer treatment drugs and therapies. In 2008, we will open the UK’s first CyberKnife radiosurgical facility to complement our existing GammaKnife, PET-CT, latest generation radiotherapy, brachytherapy, and HIFU treatments in addition to our extensive chemotherapy and traditional surgery capabilities, and ITU back-up at every hospital.
Each year we see and treat more than 20,000 people for all types of cancer, from screening, through early stages to the treatment of even the most rare and severe forms of cancer. We call this our Gold Standard Cancer Care.
Many private medical insurance and critical illness insurance policies fund cancer treatment, and so it is a real option for your patients who have an insurance policy either themselves or through their employer.
