Usually the first and most important thing for anyone with cancer is to find the right specialist, someone you can put your trust in. All of our specialist oncologist and surgeons are experts in their field and hold, or have recently held, senior NHS posts in top London teaching hospitals.

They choose to treat their private patients in our hospitals because of the facilities we provide, which means they can practice at the learning edge of cancer care.

Consultant-led care

The specialist or specialist that you meet at your first appointment will stay with you through your treatment. You will see them regularly and even when you don’t, you know that they are actively involved in your care and are guiding your progress and giving direction to the team of nurses and clinicians who are caring for you on a day-to-day basis.

You will also find that the nurses, radiographers, physiotherapists, pharmacists, dieticians, complementary therapists- everyone who make up your care team will also become familiar faces. Each has specific expertise in cancer care so they understand what you are going through and can give you their personal, attention and total support as you go through your treatment.
